April 25: Early Registration Day for Summer Camp

May 20: Last Day for Students

Spring is in full swing and believe it or not, the end of the school year is right around the corner! If you’re wondering how to keep your child busy, active, and free from summertime brain drain over the summer, one simple solution is the Heritage Elementary School Summer Camp.

What is Summer Brain Drain?

Summer Brain Drain is academic learning lost over summer months spent out of the typical school learning environment. “Research shows that students typically score lower on standardized tests at the end of summer vacation than they do on the same tests at the beginning of summer vacation.”*

Join us this Saturday, April 25 from 8 a.m. to noon for early summer camp registration and receive discounted rates. Heritage Elementary School Summer Camp, run by After School Success, LLC, provides your child with fully supervised, fun and enriching activities and classes all day long, all summer long. Kids can enjoy arts & crafts, sports, computers, games and regular field trips in addition to enrichment classes with highly qualified and certified teachers and low student-to-teacher ratios. The cost for summer camp is $150 per week, which covers all activities plus breakfast, lunch and snacks. Summer camp is DES eligible.

Even if you can’t make it out this Saturday, feel free to give us a call at (623) 742-3956 to find out more about registering your child for summer camp. At Heritage, we want to encourage your child’s continued academic and social success, even through the summer months.
