Heritage Families,
As we navigate this frequently updated information about COVID-19, I want to keep you updated with the latest in what we are doing to help you. We still have only received notice of closure through March 27. If that changes I will notify you ASAP.
This week is still our Spring Break. We are closed for this break as normal. The following week (the week of extended break), starting Monday, March 23, we will be providing grade level appropriate packets and activities for students. We will also be providing breakfast/lunch bags for all students (no matter what status you have for lunch, all students may have a breakfast/lunch bag every day).
Both the educational packets and lunches can be picked up Monday – Friday from 7:30-10:30 AM. All materials will be outside. Unfortunately we will not be open to meet with anyone in person but feel free to call the office next week if you do have questions.
The packets are intended to keep students actively using their brains during this time. They will not be graded or collected, but are a resource for you. The packets will be for the entire week. If we have to extend our closure we will provide a new packet the following Monday.
If you have any questions please feel free to call the office next week or email me at kdannenberger@heswilliams.org. Thank you for all you do for your kids!
Kaytie Dannenberger, principal
P.S. Just a friendly reminder – while schools are closed, kids should be staying home, rather than be exposed wherever they will be going.
