It just seems right that April, a month that brings sunshine, warmer weather, and spring flowers, would also be a month that’s dedicated to poetry. Every April is National Poetry Month, and we should all take some time to appreciate the many different forms of poetry from ballads to odes, from limericks to haikus, each based on the format, rhyme scheme, or subject matter.
